What's on the jukebox, Jo?

Hello my lovelies, is November getting off to a good start for you? Do you have fun plans for the month?

November is a notoriously busy month for me, both work and play, and this month is so jam packed that I'm not actually sure at what point the diary got so full up. Send help and lots and lots of tea!

Actually, despite being mega busy with work this month, I'm keeping my head focused on the fun things I have planned; that way it's like I've got plenty of rewards for working hard. Nothing like a bit of incentivisation, hey?

And the fun things this month include my first Somerset maker's market as a seller (eek!), trips to London and Bristol, gigs, creative meet ups, watching starling murmurations, friend dates and sandwiched in all of that is my birthday, eeeek! That's more than enough to fill up my five Friday happy things but, as is the whole point of writing them, I'm going to share five extra happy things from this week to see my bouncing into the weekend.

Happy #1 / Had the most wonderful Sunday exploring Lytes Cary National Trust grounds with the super lovely Jenn from Somerset Cool. She's interviewed me for her blog, so I'll share that as soon as it goes live.

Happy #2 / A Christmas party invite, which I think involves Christmas jumpers?

Happy #3 / A huge box of my latest designs arrived from Bespoke Laser in the post and I'm soooooo happy with them! They will be in the shop soon, so keep your peepers peeled.

Happy #4 / Enjoying watching and hearing the massive numbers of starlings flying over towards Ham Wall. On several occasions, two flocks shot up from the field and flew over the hedge directly above my head; the sound of the woosh as they went by was incredible and beautiful - heart in mouth moment.

Happy #5 / My latest pin design arrived and I got so excited about it that I decided to give one away in a giveaway competition I'm running on Instagram.

And here are five songs that I cannot get out my head at the moment...

Holy Mountain by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Keep Me by The Black Keys

Living on a thin line by The Kinks

In the meantime by Spacehog

Africa by Toto

...go on, you know you want to listen to Africa on repeat.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and don't forget to enter my giveaway and sign up to my newsletter for extra special goodies and news!
