What's on the jukebox, Jo?

Hello and happy Friday everyone! Have you had a good week? What were the highlights?

Mine's been a mega busy one with all sorts going on in the studio, including trying to figure out how many items to take to the Maker's Market I'll be at on Saturday 18th November in the fab ACEArts Gallery. It's been very much a case of, how long is a piece of string! Anyway, do pop that date in your diary if you'd like to do a spot of Christmas shopping and come say hi!

As it's Friday that means one thing, time to look at five lovely things that happened in the week, so that the weekend can begin on a positive.

Happy #1 / Bird watching from my desk. One Blue Tit eating from the window feeder, one Sparrowhawk circling over the garden and dozens and dozens of starlings; murmuration season is here and I love it!

Happy #2 / Giggling over rude looking plants with a friend, tee hee!

Happy #3 / Drinking lots of turmeric tea, my new favourite drink.

Happy #4 / Finding a new creative community to join and the most wonderful message from a true friend.

Happy #5 / All the amazing people who are joining in on #ColourMyEveryDay Instagram challenge and sharing such incredible photos. The feed is bursting with autumn colours, patterns and textures, it's truly wonderful!

And if five happy things aren't enough, here are five songs to put your dancing shoes on to.

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by The Andrew Sisters

See Saw by Aretha Franklin and Tom Jones

Nothing But A Heartache by The Flirtations

Pick Up The Pieces by Average White Band

Spanish Hustle by The Fatback Band

Have a wonderful weekend my lovelies and don't forget to check back here on Sunday when I will be sharing a super exciting 'Day in the life' feature with the ultimate girl boss!
