What's on the jukebox, Jo?
Wooooooooo, it's the last Friday before Christmas! Have you had a good week? Are you looking forward to festive celebrations and by that I mean not getting out your pyjamas, over doing it on the cheese and sherry and knowing that it's ok to sleep in front of a Christmas film at 2pm next to that relative you only see once a year? Ha ha! Whatever, you have planned, I hope you have a good time my lovelies!
My week didn't actual begin on Monday because it didn't even end on Friday as I worked through the weekend getting all your orders made and posted out. Ok, so technically I did take Friday afternoon off to go to the best Christmas do I've ever been on! The super fabulous Somerset Cool team put on a belter of a party last Friday. A whole group of us Somerset creatives, artists, bloggers and entrepreneurs got together at the Roxy, the smallest cinema in the UK. We donned our Christmas jumpers, drank bubbly, ate yummy nibbles and laughed A LOT before laughing even more over Elf the movie; such a brilliant night that it really should happen every Friday!
I'm not sure anything else can beat that but I can't not write down five more happy moments from the week and share a dose of music to kick start the festive weekend, so here goes.
Happy #1 / So much gorgeous surprise post this week including, a custom stamp from the fabulous Donna at For Every Cloud, pins from the super lovely Jo at Hello Sunshine, the most scrummy Lush treats from my bestie and some very funny Christmas cards.
Happy #2 / Making plans with friends and booking myself on to a 4 week calligraphy course :)
Happy #3 / The brilliance that is Julie Walters as she presents Coastal Railways. Honestly, she could present anything and I would be laughing my head off. Those perfect side glances to the camera, witty comments and both a dry and slapstick humour. What a woman!
Happy #4 / The arrival of lots of new design samples, which I cannot wait to show you all!
Happy #5 / An impromptu cup of tea with friends after my last post run of the year. The tea turned into one of those times when you start sharing funny Christmas moments and anecdotes. I returned home giggling.
I hope you had some happy moments too this week and you have a wonderful festive holiday!
