What's on the jukebox, Jo?

Cor blimey, that was a week! How was yours? Got any nice weekend plans? I'm going on a day trip tomorrow to check out more of the Somerset Art Week before it finishes on Sunday. Location will be revealed on my Instagram Stories on Saturday!

Sooooo, this week. Well, it's been a busy one, a bit like a rollercoaster truth be known, and all accompanied by the sounds of BBC 6 Music Live, which has been amazing! I have absolutely loved hearing all that live music, great interviews with the artists and finding out about some of their favourite songs too. Not sure I can pick my best from those performances, despite loving Alt-J, because they were all incredible. There's something about live music that does that, I guess. If you haven't had a chance to listen or watch it back, then I recommend checking it on the BBC 6 Music website while it's available (No, I'm not sponsored by them, I am a self-confessed 6 Music addict and nerd!).

I think it's safe to say all the music is one of my favourite things from the week but here are five more good things that happened...

Happy #1 / Drawing the prompts for the #Inktober Instagram challenge has certainly got my brain going but I'm really enjoying it, which reminds me, must go and draw today's prompt.

Happy #2 / Tried out another five ingredient recipe from Jamie Oliver and god damn, it was good. That guy seriously knows what he's doing!

Happy #3 / Finished an autumnal design in draft and sent it off to be laser cut, whoop!

Happy #4 / An unexpected, lovely message, my wonderful besties supporting me through thick and thin and going to the cinema to watch a recorded viewing of Benedict Cumberbatch as Hamlet. It was so good and has made me want to go back and read it for all the stunning quotes.

Happy #5 / Published my latest design range in my shops - Mix and Match Suit Accessories - woohoo! You can see the design process on my Instagram page, if you fancy a nose and shared a new Blog Gem with the fabulous Clare of Hello! Hooray!

And here are my five favourite songs from the week...

The Night by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons

Kindling (Fickle Flame) by Elbow and John Grant

Ain't Nothing Changed by Loyle Carner

Spent the Day in Bed by Morrissey

LA Breeze by Simian

And that's it for now, until next Friday. Have a good weekend my lovelies! Maybe give those songs a listen? ;)
